Processing of carbonfiber, for the most different applications, such as: Industrial sector: presses for the continuous production of carbon laminates having unlimited length and different widths (paper mill components) Medical sector: mainly presses for the production of parts for diagnostic X-ray machines, such as TAC, bio-scanners (used the urology, angiography and cardiology diagnostic); Sport equipments: presses for the production of saddles and wheels for racing bikes, technical parts of boats, race cars and motorcycles. With our vacuum membrane presses type CVM, it is possible to process shaped parts using only one mould (no counter mould is needed). This process grants a significantly cut down of the equipment cost. The hot presses NPC may reach working pressures up to 10 Kg/cm2. Using a mould and counter mould the NPC press grant a best finishing and an extremely reduced production time compared to the autoclave process. The hot presses PSA/S that may reach a working pressure up to 200 kg/cm2 allow the production of parts having an extremely high mechanical characteristics and finishing level. In our production range dedicated to the composite materials are also available machines for printing, agglomerating and assembling SMC polyester resins with open cells or MDF core and RTM technology. Many applications have been studied, designed and developed in cooperation with our customers for continuous cycle pressing of aluminium sandwich panels with aluminium honeycomb, ceramic, fibreglass, marble, closed cell polyolefin foam and rubber. Ormamacchine is also able to study and implement solutions for the production of polyurethane foam panels, mainly used in cold rooms, construction caravans and refrigerated trucks. The discontinuous pressing plants may be single or multi-daylight, open or closed mould, horizontal or vertical. Our machines are suitable to process PUR and PIR foams and designed according to the safety rules in case of using of PENTANE as blowing agent.
