HIGH SPEED
The LS/V line is able to fulfill most of the requirements as far as sm/day production is concerned. Designing this line two main points have been taken into account:
• Working speed increase.
• Elimination of dead times.

The result has been a line able to process from 300 up to 1100 sm/day of edge-glued panels. This goal has been achieved running wood stripes at a speed up to 180 m/min. and moving already composed panels instead of one wood stripe at a time; so doing, when working at full capacity, it is possible to lay up one stripe per second. This line is particularly suitable for those factories having a standarized production, because the high speed of the cycle does not allow frequent changes in the line setting unless by jeopardizing the performances in terms of finished panels. The line is controlled by a PLC allowing to modify all the variables (times, wood stripe lenght, wood stripe number for every panels, pressure etc.) by means of a simple data input.
